What follows is a an explanation of my experience building FreeDOS.
I used the build environment provided for OpenWatcom 1.8. I executed
build wc for FreeDOS and the pastebin output is the result.
The console said
Out of environment space
File Creation Error
each several times.
Also
\utils\wlinker /ma /nologo @KWC38616.lnk;
Cannot open KWC38616.lnk no such file or directory.
The file appears to be referenced several times in the output file.
My environment is Windows XP sp3. Standard User account. Building on a
fat32 filesystem.
