TRCH translates characters - similar to UNIX 'tr'. This used to be
UNIX2DOS, but eventually I realized that translating characters can do
more for you, so TRCH was born. Yes, TRCH can still translate UNIX
linefeeds to DOS CR/LF pairs

As announced here, I recently made a bunch of updates to TRCH, now at
version 3.1f.

Alexis Malozemoff recently volunteered to be the new maintainer for
TRCH, and since I think I've taken the program about as far as I'm
going to, I have agreed that Alexis is the new maintainer. Maintainer
info has been updated in the Software List

I don't think there is a new web site for it yet, but I'll let Alexis
announce that, if there is. You can always grab the most up-to-date
copy from:
