Incidentaly, when reading this message on the google mail web tools, I could find these two FreeDOS 1.0 related news on the "related links", on the left: http://www.techworld.com/networking/news/index.cfm?newsID=6783&pagtype=samechan http://weblog.infoworld.com/tcdaily/archives/2006/09/freedos_hits_th.html
in case Jim wants to keep the links. The articles are quite nice! (the only thing I don't like much is what is said in the second: "There's also a new installer with user-friendly menus and a free-disk space checker." Well, it is at best inaccurate. Also in that page when they say: "So, now that FreeDOS is stable, can we next expect an open source version of Windows to run on top of it? And will it take another 12 years to get?" The last question sounds a bit ironic to me. In fact, this of the 12 years is very much mentioned out there. At least, sounds as if there's a stable open source DOS platform for development and other projects. I'm also curious if there was a little report showing the subscribers to the mailing lists :) Aitor 2006/9/9, Gerry Hickman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hi Blair, > > > I don't do news groups. > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
