You didn't mention the software there, only the license, so I throught
that you meant that you could give a license to someone else, and
he/she should then download the program from illegal "warez" site like
www.bootdisk.com

"Fully considering" as in not doing anything which is illegal.
When I talk about "illegal", I don't mean stuff which could get you in
trouble with lawyers. I really mean anything which is illegal (i.e.
against the law), even if one thinks that no-one will ever know.
Also, I didn't claim FreeDOS to be illegal, only that it would be
"created using illegal software". That might or might not make FreeDOS
itself illegal.

What I don't like is people thinking that it's OK to act illegally.
I'll admit that my bar in this is extremely high. Even if FreeDOS
itself were legal, but I knew that its developers had used illegal
means while creating it, that would definitely make it less desirable
in my eyes.
I don't know if it's legal to use a copy of MSDOS obtained from
warez-site if you have a proper license. But I do know that I want to
stay as far as possible from any illegal activity. (warez is, by
definition, illegal)
So I was somewhat suprised to see a warez-site recommended on this list.

I think it's quite clear that www.bootdisk.com is a warez-site.
I think that it should be illegal to use software obtained from
warez-site even if you have a license to use that software. But as
said before, I don't know if that's illegal or not.
