We already know, that bug not in this - bug in founded directory
entries. But, as I already show you, your patch fixes not all cases, when
existing batch/executable not found. So my patch remains actual.

Just suggestion: beside replacing tabs by 4 space (by your editor?),
may be, also affected line breaks?
PS: What you change, that in your command.com copy (unlike present in CVS)
redirection works?
