Considering the circumstances, I have a couple of notes to add to the five
rules for code submission -- not new rules, just notes to help avoid
misunderstandings.

1) Frequently I write code to be more easily understood rather than heavily
optimized to save a stray byte or two. Since almost nothing in the memory
managers is nanosecond-critical, being able to understand commented code
without tracing Byzantine logic flows to figure out what the heck it does
is more important to the project.

2) If an individual doesn't test their code to see if it works at all
before submitting it, I become quite cranky. That crankiness will extend
to future submissions by the person who felt he or she didn't need to test
their own code.

Heh, "she". Has anyone seen a female within a mile/kilometer/furlong of
FreeDOS development? Too bad about the lack of them, though. We could use
a few.
