Hi, After looking for a GPL alternative to Norton's batch enhancer and not finding one (if there is one let me know!), I contacted some of the author's of the ones listed on simtel. Of these, Matthias Nott was happy to release powerbatch under the GPL. I had been working on converting all the menus in the freedos installer to use it, but I haven't had enough time lately to finish this so if anyone want's to take this up, be my guest. If anyone is just interested in trying out Powerbatch to prettify their batch files, it is available from
