Hi guys, as I have received over 100 bounces of mails
which pretended to be sent from me to various unc.edu
adresses and some more which bounced because [name of
DOS [EMAIL PROTECTED] did not exist at that somedomain
(e.g. orudge, erwin.waterlander, ondrej, atari, dosius,
fd-dev, jeremyd, ciri, rene.ableidinger, michael.kallas,
kheidens, dank...), I would like to remind EVERYBODY, in
particular users of GTE.net / Verizon (most of the mails
were actually sent by GTE users' PCs pretending to be
me...), in particular users with fast DSL connection:

Do not be stupid. If you have a fast internet connection
then you can make people really angry really fast when
your PC gets infected with a virus or spam relay. Grrrr.

In this particular case, the mails contain URLs of German
nazi / racist homepages - pretty new news items actually,
so the cause is probably a very recently "born" virus.

Or actually an OLD spamrelay / backdoor virus in combination
with somebody now using the zombie PCs as mass-mail botnet.

So far for today's lesson in computer security.

PS: I know some people now think that I spammed them by
complaining on the list - but on the other hand, it happens
often enough that people on this list are the cause of spam
or virus troubles being sent to the others. Time for a reminder.
