Alas the "int 2e backdoor" (int 2e is a function to call the master shell,
so you do not have to start a new shell instance) is pretty low on the
priority list of the FreeCOM shell maintainer, who is so busy with other
things that he has not changed anything in FreeCOM for months anyway :-(.

You can, however, try the 4DOS shell, which is now freeware in the DOS
version. I think it will support int 2e.
