Not a problem. How & where would you like me to send the card & driver CD to you?
Do you have access to my e-mail address so you can send me mailing instructions?
I see the message archive clips off the tail of our email addresses to protect us from
spammers.

Thank You! I have every confidence that you can fix this problem. I know you guys
spend a lot of time working on FreeDos apps and the last thing you want to hear from
is some guy like me with problems, but I just want to let you know that I'm very
appreciative for all of your efforts and hard work! Thanks again for your time.

I don't want to confuse the issue above so on a totally separate note the answer to
Eric Auer's question pertaining to DOS sound when using the on-motherboard VIA 686A &
686B chip-sets is as follows:

> So nice to hear that the BIOS SB emulation at least works sometimes ;-).

Our friends at VIA did not originally bundle the entire set of DOS drivers therefore
MB mfg.'s did not include the necessary VIAFMTSR.COM DOS audio driver on their driver
CD's. The following is the magic firing order in the config.sys to load the VIA audio
drivers. It works every time! Only thing is these chips as I said earlier are becoming
scarce.

LOADHIGH VIAUDIO.COM
LOADHIGH VIAFMTSR.COM
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 P330

The DOS mixerset will not work because it is not supported ... big surprise eh...
It seems like the hardware mfg.'s think their job is done as long as a "certain OS" is
supported.

Best Regards,
Brian
