Ahh, this one does the trick!! _Sometimes_ vdmserv eats up all CPU time? Well, anyway, it works. If you don't use the vdmserv, "wdw" does not seem to can handle DOS executables, e.g. it runs the program immediately ... . wcl uses the "Dwarf" format, maybe this is an issue, too.
