Oh - i could be wrong about the laptop with the 720k disks being a 286, some pages peg it as an 80C88, others a 286...
It's probably a 80C88, so the ODIN.720 disk had I prepared wouldn't work because I had forgotten the --8086 UPX switch. So I just uploaded a new one whose files are now compressed with the --8086 switch (so should work now!), at the same URL: http://linux.tu-varna.acad.bg/~lig/freedos/ODIN.720
