I think we can close BR#1853 unless you have more work immediately in mind. While we are discussing visual appearance, the adjacent open bug BR#1873 is the one about the REF colour being too close. IIRC you mitigated that a while back by perturbing the REF colours in the resource file. I am not convinced there is much more we can do here, as (a) the REF *should* have a very similar colour to your forces, (b) there is no way to please everyone on this, (c) it is not hard to change.
