Two problems:
The memory stick img does not boot on my system (grub, two drives, a working
system with fedora and windows)
The memory stick img, when booted, also writes to the hard disk!
It took a little repair to get the boot sector back the way it was.
Shame on you guys, never touch the drives unless given permission.
