Hi,
I am trying to setup a diskless client, so I have created a directory /usr/diskless and installed FreeBSD 5.3 into it. I then unpacked ports.tgz from the release and cvsup'ed yesterday.
If I chroot into /usr/diskless and try to compile perl5.8 I get the following error:

Stop in /usr/ports/lang/perl5.8.
It only fails in the chroot'ed environment, even though the chroot has a full bootable base. I have successfully installed lynx, bash, libiconv, libtool and gettext in this environment.
How do I correct this?
