how to code Makefile to add script to periodic/daily

Searched the porters handbook and can not find any info about how to code the Makefile for adding a file to /usr/local/etc/periodic/daily directory. Was hoping for a canned macro but no joy. 

Can someone please point me to documentation or provide an example.
