As far as I know, -Wl,<something> means pass <something> to linker.
In this case there is no <something>. I am not familiar with this usage of
-Wl.
In fact, gcc48 (unlike earlier versions?) seems to complain about it:
g++48: error: unrecognized command line option '-Wl'
