The ports tree is now frozen in preparation for the 8.4 release. This means that all commits need to be explicitly approved by portmgr. In general, only security fixes and build/install/deinstall fixes for this branche will be allowed. Please see the portmgr policy page for a precise description of which commits are allowed when: http://www.freebsd.org/portmgr/policies_committing.html If you have some spare time during the freeze, please help us improve the current state of the ports.
