bapt, I think you may be missing the point. It's not whether dialog4ports should be default, it's whether you should be ASKED if you want to install it. It's now a dependency of the ports system and, like other dependencies, should just be installed without asking questions. I suspect that, for the most part, you are in violent agreement with those asking THE QUERY, not dialog4ports, to be removed. -- R.
