It was not originally intended as a large scale server. It could be
adapted to that fairly easily but no one has done so yet.

I might be motivated to try; however, I would need to understand more about its architecture (and about Netgraph, whose mysteries I haven't plumbed). Also, I understand that at least some of the code is from a very old implementation of PPP that was written in Japan many years ago.

Have you thought about how such modifications might be made?
