I've just rebuilt my Core2Duo laptop with r232454 and have no any problem with Xorg and (at least old) Intel video driver. Now writing this mail from it. Now started rebuilding of my home server. I am not sure how this change can cause such specific effect. Are you sure you haven't changed anything else unexpectedly?
