--- Comment #2 from [email protected] --- A friend of my mine took a look at this issue. He was able reproduce the error and started reading the source to see if he could figure out what was wrong. After a while he decided to check if any fonts were installed at all. None wore installed. So he installed xorg-fonts and the problem went away. I have reproduced his fix by installing xorg-fonts in all my gecko-jails. Now firefox, firefox-esr and librewolf are all working. I suggest a dependency is add to the gecko-based browser packages. I don't know if xorg-fonts is too big a dependency but then I suggest some other font-package. It is quite hard to figure out what is going on when an application segfaults on startup.
