I think the way we word the introductory paragraph to a chapter of a doc or
manual has a colossal impact on peoples understanding of the topic at hand and
even the project as a whole.

Please don't write docs saying "well nobody reads them anyway". The quality,
length, and semantic density of the introduction is where the reader decides if
it's worth reading. If information is disorganized or repetative, then they
don't read it.
