There seems to be an error in the plist, at least in pkg-plist.amd64
(possible in pkg-plist.i386 too?):

There are only AUTHORS and NEWS in that directory.
COPYING is in stage/compat/linux/usr/share/licenses/gdk-pixbuf2-2.36.5/.
BTW: the license could be set: it is under “GNU Library General Public
License Version 2” according to COPYING.
