--- Comment #3 from [email protected] --- As a follow-up, the only distinction that I can think of is if the VIP is used exclusively on the interface. In that case it *should* be what network to which it belongs so FBSD knows where the packets needs to go. In the event it's added where the network is already defined and an ip already assigned within a given net (i.e. adding it as an alias), it needs to be a /32.
