You're right, it was because of ACPI ;)I notice that your network cards, sound card and sio use IRQ 4, I also note that your aren't using acpi, what happens when you enable it?
I just compiled a GENERIC kernel and booted it with ACPI ENABLED. The problem didn't occur. Then, I booted it with ACPI DISABLED, and the problem was there again.
