i added a stallion easy i/o to a 5.1 box. compiling the kernel fails with a lot of errors in stallion.c. any chance that this gets corrected soon?

Is this an ISA or PCI card?

it is an easy i/o 8 PCI card. i have this and the isa card in a lot of servers with 4.x for multiple hylafax modems. i have one production box for testing purposes with 5.1 running very stable. but now it looks like that all the servers with stallion cards are bound to 4.x till one puts the stallions into the trash and buys other cards :-(. on the stallion site there are lot of drivers including bsdi, but none for freebsd.

Please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] Stallion, Inc. sent him several cards
to fix the driver in newer versions of FreeBSD.

In addition, you could offer one of your cards to a FreeBSD developer so
someone else could also fix it.

many thanks for the tip. sending one of the cards from austria to USA wouldnt make sence. but i really would appreziate a solution to be able to update the servers in the future. for the 5.1 production box it looks like i have to go back to 4.x meanwhile because there are 6 lines needed in the next few days. everything else with 5.1 on this box looks really good and stable.
