Occasionally, one of my systems gets rpc.lockd stuck using all of the CPU cycles. I fix it by running '/etc/rc.d/nfslocking restart'. That works but it shows there is a syntax error somewhere. Here is the output that I get:
[: checkyesno: unexpected operator Stopping statd. [: checkyesno: unexpected operator Stopping lockd. Starting statd. Starting lockd. I have the following in /etc/rc.conf: nfs_client_enable="YES" nfs_server_enable="YES" rpc_lockd_enable="YES" rpc_statd_enable="YES" rpcbind_enable="YES" -- Glenn Johnson USDA, ARS, SRRC Phone: (504) 286-4252 New Orleans, LA 70124 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ [EMAIL PROTECTED] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-current To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
