In addition to my pppoe/adsl connection no longer working, I find that I cannot use control-c to kill running programs when I'm logged in directly to the console (without invoking "stty intr ^c" first) yerprompt$ stty #(syscons console, TERM=cons25) speed 115200 baud; lflags: echoe echoke echoctl pendin oflags: -oxtabs cflags: cs8 -parenb discard dsusp eof erase intr kill lnext quit reprint <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> start stop susp werase <undef> <undef> <undef> <undef> ...although an xterm seems to behave itself (almost) yerprompt$ stty #(TERM=xterm) speed 38400 baud; lflags: echoe echok echoke echoctl pendin iflags: -ixany ignpar oflags: -oxtabs cflags: cs8 -parenb -hupcl erase2 status <undef> ^E Hope this helps unbreak whatever's broken....
