My problem (seen on the alpha package cluster in the chroots used to build packages) may have been a bad userland. I used a snapshot from snapshots.jp.freebsd.org to populate the chroots and saw tons of sig11s during the package builds, but when I built a world myself and used that the problems seem to have ceased. I haven't updated the kernel on those machines. Kris
