:I tought this too and it's true for many devices, but the umass device
:gets an invalid command first and the umass driver is required to
:handle that failure in a special way for some devices.

    I'll try to get the diskkey working on -current first (I now have it
    working on -stable), then I'll try removing the Quirk entry on both
    stable and current to see if it still works and post a followup.
