The catman C implimentation is VERY hard to read and I find totally unmaintainable. I have emailed John about some functionality I was trying to add -- bzip2 support. Unfortunately the use of Gzip is totally hardcoded and Johnh is not responding to emails. There for I am now asking if someone would rewrite catman gain in a much cleaner way.
