I'm logged in to the machine that's providing console services to the
machine (though both are remote from where I am physically right now);
if there's anything I can do to help identify the problem, please let me
know.  Access to BIOS stuff isn't feasible, but other stuff should be.
This is my "build machine," so it doesn't have a critical task to be done
for another 18 hrs. or so.
