Kernel builds now fail with the following error message:

    Global symbol "$FreeBSD" requires explicit package name at ./@/kern/vnode_if.pl 
line 82.
    Use of $* is deprecated at ./@/kern/vnode_if.pl line 82.
    Global symbol "$FreeBSD" requires explicit package name at ./@/kern/vnode_if.pl 
line 98.
    Execution of ./@/kern/vnode_if.pl aborted due to compilation errors.
