I meant that strictly in the sense of raising awareness about the issue and potential unexpected breakage for users. If I did not get this conversation entirely wrong, the problem is exactly that there are probably many people running an unsupported configuration without knowing. How to reach them? I don't have a blog - anyone willing to step in? I could help drafting a short article explaining the issue. Then we could use BSDnow.TV among possibly other platforms to get the word out.
