To get a stable SLAAC address it also helps to have in

        /boot/loader.conf:      if_bridge_load="YES"
        /etc/sysctl.conf:       net.link.bridge.inherit_mac=1

This way the bridge IF clones the MAC address of the first member IF and
SLAAC works as intended.
