During the installation I got the following error: # make installkernel ... kldxref /boot/kernel kldxref: error while reading /boot/kernel/iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode.ko: Bad address kldxref: error while reading /boot/kernel/iwlwifi-9260-th-b0-jf-b0-46.ucode.ko: Bad address kldxref: error while reading /boot/kernel/ktest_netlink_message_writer.ko: Bad address I know the reason (the install process uses the old existing kldxref which does not can handle some things). I proceeded with the installation and all is fine, the box is up again in multiuser and /usr/sbin/kldxref is now from today. Should I run 'make installkernel' a 2nd time? matthias -- Matthias Apitz, ✉ g...@unixarea.de, http://www.unixarea.de/ +49-176-38902045 Public GnuPG key: http://www.unixarea.de/key.pub
