I run in fact mermaster after installworld, but with flag -a; I have now moved 
from the
temproot:

# cd /var/tmp/temproot.*/etc/rc.d
# mv * /etc/rc.d
# cd ..
# rm group motd
# for i in *; do test -f $i && mv $i /etc ; done

and the network is fine again; thanks for the fast help;
