I suspect, somehow, that I've corrupted my build machine, but I'm not sure what I could have don to do this. The following build target failure seems to bail because of libiberty.a not being a mips library as shown by an objdump -a on it (where it is an x86_64 lib).
I've gone back to about two weeks ago in source, but it doesn't seem to help. I have done a recent update to my buildbox to current as of a few days ago (11.0-CURRENT #7 r262732), but I can't see anything there that is causing me problems either. ===> gnu/usr.bin/binutils/doc
