I think this is useful.  In earlier versions of BHyve, the default was to
use console over a PCI serial device.
With this commit from Neel Natu:
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/svn-src-all/2013-October/076027.html
it is now possible to specify a different device for the console, such as
COM1.
