Hi,

You might want to look at my Virtual OSS from I4B SVN, which creates an entire 
/dev/vdsp device from userspace using cuse4bsd!

svn --username anonsvn --password anonsvn \
      checkout svn://svn.turbocat.net/i4b

Look for voss in i4b/trunk/virtual_oss .
