Thanks to Alexander Motin i was able to fix it.
The htprr driver was overriding the mvs one.
Had to add to /boot/loader.conf hw.hptrr.attach_generic=0

Hello,
I got myself a board made for google by arima and had some issues with
it booting freebsd on it, but with some help of the list i was able to
make it boot.
Now i have two problems, whenever i try to reboot i get kernel trap
12, and the more irritating problem, is that i can't make disks on the
marvell controller show up. According to 'man ata' the 88sx7042 is
supported, but even if i compile the kernel to support mvs, or try to
load it with loader.conf it won't load the driver. If i load debian up
im able to read/write them, so its probably not a hw issue. I would
welcome any ideas since im starting to run out of them.
