Hi,
dirp = opendir("/cdrom");
direntp = readdir(dirp);
results in
direntp->d_type == DT_UNKNOWN
for every kind of directoryentry, even if it is a directory or file.
The man page didn't say it didn't work with CDs, so I assume it should
work ( ;) ).
