:       I tried that, it then can't find /dev/tty4.  If I also symlink
:tty4 it will panic.  Lets see if I can get a dump.

    Symlinking /dev/tty4 to what?  You should be symlinking /dev/tty4 to
    /dev/ttyv4.

    I'm not up on the linux emulation so the best I can do is provide
    general ideas.
