Check out Austrian director Virgil Widrich’s 2001 Copy Shop. One man multiplies 
and multiplies and multiplies. Students I showed this to last semester did some 
interesting work putting themselves in the frame more than once. There are some 
youtube tutorials on “cloning” that provide examples and how-tos.
