If the problem is the motor, pull the motor and ship it to DuAll or someone that works on those. There is no reason to ship the whole camera if there is a motor issue. (That said, if it's been a decade since the camera has had a PM, it might be a good idea to ship it in for a PM as well).
The electronics in those motors aren't that hard to work on; anybody that does camera electronics should be okay with it. It's not like a GSMO or something full of weird proprietary parts.
