Spring is approaching and with it a number of cinema related initiatives
for 2020;  specialized offerings, visiting makers, facilities, books,
services and materials, all here in support of your work.  Feel free to
pass along to friends and colleagues in the greater NYC area.

*WORKSHOPS // DEMOS *
All participants of the MONO NO AWARE workshops will present their
completed films at a free, open-to-the-public screening program at
Anthology Film Archives.  Workshops are all inclusive, all ages and often
times below hard costs in our effort to make the experience affordable and
accessible to the community.

Each and every Monday evening from 9PM-3AM MONO NO AWARE hosts group
processing sessions for first-timers and/or self-sufficient folks.  All
chemistry included, access to facilities, spools and leader ::))  9 times
out of 10 we can also accommodate scanning while you wait with no rush fee.

*REFERENCE LIBRARY // BOOK DISTRO *
Over 300 titles on the history, theory and technical manuals related to the
moving image arts are available at MONO.  In addition,
recent publications; Found Footage Magazine Issue #5, Analog Cookbook Issue
#2, Experimental Filmmaking and the Motion Picture Camera, Radicales Libres
(Español), Break the Machine, Dead Flowers and Making Images Move: Handmade
Cinema and the Other Arts are available for purchase (yes we ship)

*SCREENING *
EARTHEATER series. On February 22nd at 72 Rockwell Place we'll be
projecting a print of *Motion At A Distance* by Lindsay Packer and Andrew
Yong Hoon Lee on view from the street.  The film will play on 16mm on loop
from dusk until dawn.  If you find yourself in the area on that evening
please peek around the corner and take a look or stop by the center of
operations from 6-8pm for an informal reception. Free.
