Dear Fred,
We write with news we never wished to share. Our beloved father, P.
Adams Sitney, died this morning, surrounded by all of his children and
his partner, Linda.
Just over a week ago, P. Adams was diagnosed with advanced metastatic

I am proud to have counted him as a friend for 50 years. Talking and
spending time with him certainly enriched my life — greatly. He will be
sorely missed, that's true, and this news makes me very sad, but it is
also the case that he will be very well remembered.
