In both the following situations: - I use this device for authentication and am authenticated - I am not using this device for authentication but at least the latter situation, I would like to use the fingerprint reader as a scoll wheel. It could be used for: - zooming - vertical scrolling - horizontal scrolling I'm interested especially in using for zooming in and out, which is something like CTRL + SCROLLWHEEL1 in X or GNOME. Would you please consider this as a feature request. Implementing this would provide an extra or alternative scroll wheel in a creative way. Being able to offer zoom or vertical scrolling via this device would allow for more ergonomic use of that functionality without having to use SHIFT or CTRL with the normal scroll wheel.
