It's a bug that you get this kind of weird error, but it effectively 
means that your scan was not good enough to be processed.

I don't have one myself, but I understand that AES1610 doesn't really 
work very well with fprint. It's difficult to get a scan good enough for 
processing, and when you do, the results are still not very good.

I believe this is because the AES1610 is so much smaller than the other 
supported sensors, and our image processing code seems suited for larger 
images only. Perhaps things will improve in future.
